Picture Perfect

Inakadate Village has a hidden treasure nestled in Aomori Precture. During the scavenger hunt this was one of the many wondeful things I got to experience. Every year an image is chosen and rice is grown to create a beautiful picture. No dye or artificial colours are used, it is pure skill produced by the locals to craft out these fantastic sites. You view the field from a tall tower where you can also see the mountains for miles around, it was really a magnificant sight. The site closes for the winter becasue of the snow so I was delighted to get a glimpse before the cold rolls in.
